Welcome to the very first episode of my series of English teaching videos :
-İngilizce öğretim video serilerimin ilk bölümüne hoşgeldiniz.
Before I begin, We will take a look at some of the common questions that often arise when talking about learning the English language :
-Başlamadan önce, İngilizce hakkında konuşulduğu zaman genellikle göze çarpan soruları ele alacağız.
 and more importantly, learning it as a second language :
-Ve daha önemlisi, bunu ikinci bir dil olarak öğrenmek
So the first question must be "why do we need to learn English?" :

 Of course one of the reasons why we need to be able to speak English nowadays is because the world is becoming smaller :

Thanks to the internet and our developing global economy :

More and more people are using English as a common way to communicate with each other :
-Çok ama çok insan kendi aralarındaki iletişim için İngilizce'yi genel yol olarak kullanır
So now It has become unavoidable that the companies and large businesses will need to employ people who can speak more than their own native language :
-Böylece şimdi kaçınılmaz olan şudur ki şirketler ve büyük işletmeler kendi yerel dillerinden daha iyi İngilizce bilen insanları istihdam etmeye ihtiyaç duyacaklardır.
That is where English comes in :
-İngilizce nin bu konuma nereden geldiği budur
It is now offically considered as an international language :
-Şimdi resmen uluslararası dil olarak kabul edilmiş
Of course learning anything is difficult and English in no exception :
-Elbette birşeyler öğrenmek zordur ve İngilizce dahi bir istisna değildir.
However, there are ways to make the situation easier :
-Fakat, bu durumu kolaylaştıran bazı yollar vardır.
 I have come up with my own list of general rules for learning English :
-İngilizceyi öprenmek için kendi genel kurallarımla geldim.
 Do you want to hear them? : 
- Onları duymak ister misiniz?
 Do you want to know what they are ? : 
-Onların ne olduğunu bilmek ister misiniz?
 Ok...Let's go! :

 Learning English takes time and patience : 
-İngilizce Öğrenmek zaman ve sabır gerektirir
 It cannot be rushed : Aceleye gelemez
 Try to relax and take it easy : 
-Rahatlamaya ve kolay görmeye çalışın
 The most important thing you need at the beginning is a good vocabulary : 
-Başta ihtiyacınız olan en önemli şey ii bir kelime haznesine sahip olmaktır.
 Without words, you have nothing to work with : 
-Kelimesiz çalışacak bir işin yoktur.
You have to start with a strong foundation or base and slowly build on it, day by day! :
-İyi bir temel veya dayanak ile başlamalısın ve yavaş yavaş, günden güne üzerine bina et.
ou must view English as a part of your body : 
- İngilizceyi vücudunuzun bir parçası olarak görmelisiniz
just as you would, an arm or a leg :
 -İstediğiniz gibi, bir kol veya ayak
It must become a part of your everyday life :
-Günlük hayatınızın bir parçası olmalı
Daily practice is very important :
-Günlük tekrar çok önemli
Do not worry about making mistakes :
-Hata yapmakan korkmayın
In fact the more mistakes you make the more you will learn from them :
-Aslında, yaptığınız her hata, onlardan daha fazla öğrenmenizi sağayacaktır.
 Just like learning to ride a bike : 
-Sadece bisiklet sürmeyi öğrenmek gibi.
Sometimes you fall off :
-Bazen düşersin 
So what do you do? :

You get back on and try again :

Do not look at English as just another subject :
 -İngilizceye başka bir konu gibi bakmayın 
Your attitude to English and the way you view it will decide how well you progress :
-İngilizceye olan kabliyetiniz ve ona bakışınız ne kadar ilerleyeceğinizi belirleyecektir.
Just as we say in English ...No pain...No gain :
-Sadece ingilizce söylediğimiz gibi, emek olmadan yemek olmaz 
The two most important words to remember when learning English are Practice and Confidence :  
-İngilizce öğrenirken hatırlamanız gereken ikinci önemli şey pratik yapmak ve güvendir.
Practice English everyday and be confident :
-Her gün pratik yapın ve kendinizden emin olun.
You will find that the more you use English, the better your English will become and the more confident you become, then the more you will want to use it :
-Daha fazla kullandıınız İngilizce daha iyi bir İngilizce'ye ve daha fazla güven ve sonra onu daha fazla kullanmak isteyeceksiniz.
Make it a rule to tell yourself :
-Kendine söylemek için onu bir kural yapın
I can do it !! :

How to Make an Adjective Clause to Describe a Location

This is the place where I work : Burası çalıştığım yerdir. (sıfat tamlaması : where I work : Çalıştıım yer)
place : Yer , mekan
Önemli Not : "where" sözcüğü bilinen "nere, nereye" anlamını sıfat tamlamalarında taşımaz. Sadece Sıfat tamlamasının bir parçasıdır.
Bunun dışında hiçbir anlam taşımaz.Kullanılmazsa yani "the place I work" gibi bir cümle yapısı da vardır.
Bu halde de kullanılablir.Bu cümlede "where" sözcüğü vardır ama yazılmamıştır.
""where I work"" tamlaması "place" sözcüğünü tanımlar ki cümle şöyle olur ; Çalıştığım yer.
This is the place where I eat : Burası yemek yediğim yerdir.
This is the place where I practice : Burası pratik yaptığım yerdir.
The place where I work is nearby : Çalıştığım yer yakındadır.
place >> sıfat
the place where I work >> Özne
is >> fiildir.
The house where I live is on this street : Yaşadığım ev bu sokaktadır.
The house I live in is on this street : içinde yaşadığım ev bu sokaktadır. (Lütfen yukardaki önemli notu okuyun)
*** Sıfat tamlamalarında bir yeri tarif ederken "where" yerine "that" kulanılabilir.
The school (that) he goes to is very good : Gittiği okul çok iyidir.
The school (where) he goes is very good : Gittiği okul çok iyidir.
Konuşma : " If you use 'where' at the beginning of the clause dont use the pereposition 'to' : Eğer 'where' i tamlamamın başında kullanırsanız, 'to' edatını kullanmayın.
The store where she shops for groceries is very expensive : Yiyecek için alışveriş yaptığı mağaza çok pahalıdır.
The store she shops at for groceries is very expensive : Yiyecek için alışveriş yaptığı mağaza çok pahalıdır.
The store where she shops = The store she shops at : Alışveriş yaptığı yer

What did you do during the day today? : Bugün gün boyu ne yaptın? (past tense / geçmiş zaman)
Try to pay attention during class : Ders boyunca derse dikkatini vermeye çalış
Try not to talk during a movie : Bir film boyunca konuşmamaya çalış
Dont fall asleep during class! : Ders boyunca uykuya dalma!
Ronald Reagan was president of the United States during the 1980's : Ronald reagan 1980' lerde Amerika başkanıydı.
Bill Clinton was president of the United States during the 1990's : Bill Clinton 1990' lerde Amerika başkanıydı.
İn the morning = during the morning : Sabah ...,,,
İn the afternoon = During the afernoon :Öğleden sonra ...> "During" edatı "in" yerine kullanılabilir "in" kullanımı basit olduğu için tercih edilir.
In the evening = during the evening : Akşam ...,,,
We studied preposition during the month of April : Nisan ayı boyunca edatları çalıştık
We are studying proverbs during the month of May : Mayıs ayı boyunca atasözlerine çalışacağız
We' re going to study basic English during the month of June : Haziran ayı boyunca basit İngilizce ye çalışacağız.
